چکیده
Here, we investigated the effects of Zingiber mioga extracts (FSH-ZM) on moisturization and depigmentation skin as well wrinkle formation in UVB-irradiated HRM-2 hairless mice. The mice were divided into six groups follows: normal control (NC), (C), positive 1 (PC1, L-ascorbic acid 200 mg/kg b.w.), 2 (PC2, Arbutin Z100 (FSH-ZM 100 Z200 b.w.). experiment spanned a period 6 weeks. We found that FSH-ZM led to an increase expression hyaluronan synthase 2, fibrillin-1, elastin mRNAs, showed improved hydration compared group. Furthermore, also inhibited inflammatory cytokines forming factors generated by UVB reduced wrinkles test group relative increasing collagen synthesis. Moreover, decreased melanogenesis factors, which These results suggest can potentially be utilized develop products aimed at improving reducing formation.

Oral Administration of Glycine and Leucine Dipeptides Improves Skin Hydration and Elasticity in UVB-Irradiated Hairless Mice
Placenta is a special organ that contains many nutrients such as growth factors, minerals, and bioactive peptides. Dipeptides of glycine and leucine are major components of porcine placenta extracts (PPE) that has been used as an alternative of human placenta extracts. In this study, we investigated whether major peptides of PPE, Glycyl-L-Leucine (Gly-Leu), L-Leucyl-Glycine (Leu-Gly), and L-Leu...
متن کامل(Z)-5-(2,4-Dihydroxybenzylidene)thiazolidine-2,4-dione Prevents UVB-Induced Melanogenesis and Wrinkle Formation through Suppressing Oxidative Stress in HRM-2 Hairless Mice
Background. Uncontrolled melanogenesis and wrinkle formation are an indication of photoaging. Our previous studies demonstrated that (Z)-5-(2,4-dihydroxybenzylidene)thiazolidine-2,4-dione (MHY498) inhibited tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis in vitro. Objective. To examine in vivo effects of MHY498 as an antiaging compound on UVB-induced melanogenesis and wrinkle formation, we topically appl...
متن کاملDietary lutein/zeaxanthin partially reduces photoaging and photocarcinogenesis in chronically UVB-irradiated Skh-1 hairless mice.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are xanthophyll carotenoids with potent antioxidant properties protecting the skin from acute photodamage. This study extended the investigation to chronic photodamage and photocarcinogenesis. Mice received either a lutein/zeaxanthin-supplemented diet or a standard nonsupplemented diet. Dorsal skin of female Skh-1 hairless mice was exposed to UVB radiation with a cumulativ...
متن کاملDietary tocotrienol reduces UVB-induced skin damage and sesamin enhances tocotrienol effects in hairless mice.
We have previously reported that substantial amounts of tocotrienols were present in the skin of animals fed a diet containing a tocopherols and tocotrienols rich fraction (T-mix) extracted from palm oil, and further, that sesame lignans enhanced tocotrienol levels in the skin. The present studies were undertaken to determine whether dietary tocotrienols and those with sesamin could protect the...
متن کاملPhotoprotection of Buddleja cordata extract against UVB-induced skin damage in SKH-1 hairless mice
BACKGROUND In recent years, there has been considerable interest in using botanical agents to prevent skin damage resulting from solar UV-irradiation. Buddleja cordata is a plant that is known as "tepozan". Some people in Mexico use the leaves of this plant to treat tumours, abscesses, sores and burns. The purpose of this study is to investigate the photoprotective properties of Buddleja cordat...
